Home Health Aide Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION (Must be a CNA)

North Bay Home Health Aide Training Program is a 40 Hour (Mon – Fri) California State approved program from start to finish. You will learn everything you need to know about becoming a Home Health Aide and becoming an integral part of the health care team.

Our HHA Training Program in Sonoma County, will prepare you with the information, knowledge, skills and experience you will need to be a Home Health Aide, providing quality care for patients in home care.

CERTIFICATION

As a graduate of our program, you will be prepared to work in:

Private Homes
Retirement Communities
Assisted Living Facilities
Group Homes
Transitional Housing
Home Health Agencies
Hospice Agencies
Congregate Living Health Facilities
Long Term Care Facilities

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Become an HHA in 5 days
20 hours lecture
20 hours externship
Approved by CDPH (California Department of Public Health)

Course Requirements

Must be a CNA
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must have a valid State Identification card
Must have a Social Security Card
Physical Examination by a physician or nurse practitioner within 90 days prior to clinical rotation
PPD (TB) test within 90 days prior to our clinical rotation
Must pass a Live Scan Fingerprinting background check (no cost to student)
The Live Scan Fingerprinting will be done on our mandatory orientation day at 100 Professional Center Dr Ste 102, Rohnert Park, CA. 94928

BY REGISTERING, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS

There is a $100 Deposit required to reserve your spot. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. This is deducted from the $500 total.
The remainder is due on the first day of class. If other payment arrangements are needed, please contact our office at 707.843.3703
Class change (switching to a different class other than the one for which you originally registered) is allowed ONLY ONCE after registration.
Tuition (Not Deposits) may only be refunded if you give notice in writing 7 days prior to the class start date. You must receive approval to receive a refund. Tuition will not be refunded once class begins.

COURSE FEE: $500 (or $400 for graduates of our CNA Program)

($100 Non Refundable Deposit Required to Reserve Spot. The remainder $400 will be due on orientation day unless previous arrangements are made))

Just recently went to renew my CEU's for my CNA license. I was actually one of the first classes Roxanne had when she first opened up her buissness. My class was a weekend class we graduated in 2021. One thing I loved was, She gave our class the opportunity to come in and practice in the classroom after hours, just so we felt ready when we finally took the exam. I 100% recommend this place.

North Bay CNA’s program was outstanding! Roxanne clearly knows what she is doing. I spent some time researching programs in the area because I wanted to make sure I would get a good education and experience. North Bay has a great reputation in the industry and comes highly recommended. I really liked how the schedule was done. We spent the mornings in classroom lecture. Then after lunch we would work on clinical skills. This approach allowed us to practice skills as we learned them instead of waiting until after all the class work was done. The team Roxanne has is amazing and they did a great job guiding us. My clinical site was incredible and I learned so much. Having our instructor Julie by our side at the clinical site supporting us was really helpful. I loved my experience at the clinical site so much that I am actually now working at that site as a CNA! I was stressed about taking the CNA test but the staff at North Bay prepared me well and I passed with high marks. I really appreciate all the help and support that Roxanne, Julie and the rest of the team provided. I highly recommend North Bay CNA program- you will not be disappointed!

100% recommend North Bay CNA! I was on the fence about committing to a program with a baby and toddler at home. Luckily, Julie, Roxanne, and all the staff made me feel at ease. They helped give me the confidence to succeed and complete the program. They create an incredibly supportive environment that I can't imagine getting anywhere else. Of course, they're all ridiculously knowledgeable and talented in their expertise. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure your success, and we all worked as a team to help each other out. I would just like to say I enjoyed doing this course. It gave me confidence and I gained the knowledge and skills that I needed to get into the healthcare industry. Miss. Julie, our teacher was so sweet and very supportive. She always took her time to teach and explain things to us in a very professional way. The director Miss. Roxanne is wonderful. Her employees are very friendly and always work as a team to support the students in gaining the knowledge they need in this field. Amazing program with excellent instructors. Professional, kind, and they care about student success. They ensure you are prepared to be the best CNA possible with their thorough skills training and informative lectures. The owner, Roxanne, is an awesome person as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. My class all grew to be friends, and it felt like a very supportive environment, which is hard to find in a lot of CNA or nursing programs. I am pleased to say I passed my exams on my first try and have already gotten a job offer, and I just graduated! Nothing but nice things to say about this program.
